By accessing or using Align & Dine (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Align & Dine is a free web application that helps groups decide where to eat by allowing participants to vote on nearby restaurants. The Service uses location data and the Google Places API to find restaurants, and provides a real-time voting system for group decision-making.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose and not to:
Align & Dine does not require you to create an account. Participants are assigned anonymous food-themed aliases when joining a lobby. You are responsible for sharing lobby codes only with intended participants.
Restaurant data displayed in the Service is provided by the Google Places API. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this information, including but not limited to business hours, pricing, ratings, or availability. Always verify details directly with the restaurant before visiting.
Lobbies are temporary and expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. Completed sessions are retained for up to 24 hours to allow participants to view results. We reserve the right to delete lobby data at any time. A maximum of 10 participants may join a single lobby.
The Service may display advertisements through Google AdSense or custom ad placements. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Interaction with ads is at your own discretion and risk.
The Align & Dine name, logo, design, and original content are owned by us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission. Restaurant data and images are the property of their respective owners and Google.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information provided through the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Align & Dine and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to unsatisfactory dining experiences, incorrect restaurant information, or lost data.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
